The story of Loom Games begins long before its breakout success. Founded in 2019 by Kübra Gündoğan and Emre Çelik under the name Crescive Games, the studio started with minimal capital, a small team, and no external backing. What set them apart was their process: build quickly, test rigorously, and discard what didn’t work. Over six years, they developed nearly 70 prototypes—most of which never launched. But each iteration sharpened their understanding of player behavior in the hypercasual gaming space.
That discipline eventually paid off. Twisted Tangle, developed by Crescive and published through Rollic Games, surpassed 10 million downloads within just two months, becoming one of the publisher’s biggest hits of 2023. It proved the team could scale a successful title—an essential milestone on the path to building a globally competitive gaming company.
The company’s early momentum caught the attention of investors. In late 2025, Crescive—now evolving into Loom Games—secured seed backing from Arcadia and e2vc at a valuation of around $36 million. Crucially, this funding validated growth that was already underway, rather than initiating it.
That validation quickly turned into opportunity. Within weeks of the seed round, interest from global players like Scopely followed—signaling that Loom Games had moved from experimentation to serious contender in the global gaming arena.
