Marwan holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Texas at Arlington, USA. He completed the ‘Future Leaders Programme’ for UAE nationals in 2007 and ‘Developing General Management Potential’ from Cranfield University in 2008. Recently, Marwan concluded the 'UAE Consortium for Executive Development Programme' with INSEAD. Marwan is currently a Senior VP at Dubai Science Park (DSP), the region’s first free zone community that serves the entire value chain of the science sector, dedicated to supporting scientific Entrepreneurs, SMEs and multinational enterprises. Formerly known as DuBiotech and Enpark, it is home to over 300 science companies across the life sciences as well as energy and environment sectors. Dubai Science Park aims to play a significant role in Dubai’s Vision 2021 by facilitating a more sustainable and self-sufficient future that maximizes the sustainable use of indigenous resources and talent. DSP will achieve this by supporting innovation in the sciences by fostering growth and change in the areas of human science, plant science, material science, environmental science and energy science.
