Aisha is a young unicorn passionate about responsible business practices, from Sustainability and ESG performance management to the broad socio-economic implications of new disruptive technologies. Aisha has a knack for research, data analytics and synthesis. Prior to becoming a tech news reporter, Aisha spent a few years doing research for the United Nations. Aisha graduated with a degree in integrated engineering, and proudly still drives the electric vehicle she built with her fellow student-colleagues as one of her final projects in school. Aisha can still be seen driving her zero-emissions vehicle in and around Dubai, where she grew up. Aisha speaks English and Arabic, and completed her studies in Canada, where she also minored in magic. Aisha specializes in sustainable development, climate tech, ESG, social impact startups, venture capital, macroeconomics and geopolitics.
