Egypt, considered part of the MENA region, though on the African continent, is the only country with a population of over 100 million in MENA, making it the largest country in the Arab world by population.

Situated in the North-Eastern corner of the African continent, the country has the third largest population across Africa, and is the 15th most populous country in the world.
